  • A range becomes a fixed price after a short scoping call. What moves a price: users and departments, data to migrate, integrations, and how much is configured versus built.
  • Optional annual support and managed governance starts at 18% of the project value per year (minimum $1,800). Changes after go-live are $85 per hour, or a prepaid 20-hour block for $1,600.
  • Prices exclude VAT (16% in Kenya) and withholding tax.

What is Open edX?

It is an open source learning platform, originally created by Harvard and MIT, used by many universities and organizations. Being open source means no per-learner licence fees for the platform itself.

Why customize it and not buy a ready-made LMS?

Because your branding, sign-in, enrolment rules and reports are specific to you. We tailor those parts and leave the proven core alone.

Can you move our existing courses across?

Usually yes. We review your current content formats and tell you what can be imported and what needs rebuilding.

Can we use it for external audiences, such as grantees or the public?

Yes. It supports open enrolment, private cohorts and certificates, so it works for internal staff, partners and public learners.

Who looks after it once it is live?
